Since joining Aspire Software in early 2020, Navitrans has implemented effective KPIs and centralized tools

There's no doubt that 2020 has been a year full of changes. Early in 2020, Navitrans joined Aspire Software, a division of Valsoft Corp, after building a strong reputation of being technology leaders in the logistics and transportation industry.

We have provided a premium suite of integrated logistics and transportation software to customers of all sizes for more than 20 years. The goal is the same today as it was back when Navitrans was founded - to help business owners find the perfect solution for their business's needs in a cost effective manner. 

When joining Aspire, Heinz Helewaut, CEO of Navitrans, highlighted Aspire's commitment to expanding the brand while remaining loyal to existing customers as a key factor in joining. 

Heinz Helewaut, our CEO has decades of experience in software development and shortly after working for a local Belgian company dedicated to providing software to logistic service providers, he had 'entrepreneur blood' flowing through his veins.

"If you feel this, the only thing you can do is start your own company," recalls Helewaut. That's exactly what he and his partners did in 1999, starting Young & Partners, known today as Navitrans. "We wanted to become a worldwide leader in making and delivering the best software solutions and tools for the transport and logistics markets."

A shared vision with Aspire

 

With a burning desire to see Navitrans grow faster, Helewaut sought out a company like Aspire (Valsoft) due to their shared entrepreneurial vision. He wanted to see his company grow faster while at the same time, continuing to lead his team and continue serving Navitrans' valued customers.

Going through the acquisition process with Valsoft, Helewaut was pleased to know that the intention was for him to continue running Navitrans for the long term. He also appreciated that in discussing his business, he felt he was dealing with entrepreneurs, like himself.

 

As for Aspire, it was clear from day one that the goal was to reinvest in Navitrans and bring the company to the next level:

What does the future hold?

 

Navitrans' future is being built with Helewaut continuing to serve as our CEO and leading day to day operations. After working with Aspire for the better part of a year, he is proud to say that his goals with the acquisition have been met: "We have become more profitable and have good stability." With the added resources of the Valsoft/Aspire team Helewaut is confident that Navitrans will continue to grow at a steady pace and continue serving the logistics and transport industry for many years to come.
