Navitrans continuing operations under significant changes

Navitrans ensuring operational continuity to partners

Navitrans to follow government guidelines in operating amid Covid-19

As the Covid-19 virus spreads rapidly and local governments issue new instructions daily, Navitrans is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees and their families.

Navitrans management has taken some drastic, but necessary steps to fulfill this commitment. Naturally, these measures will have an impact on how we collaborate with partners and clients, as well as our responsiveness to inquiries.

That being said, Navitans will continue to operate and the company guarantees continuity of its operations. In the interest of transparency, we’d like to share with these adjustments with you. This is a crisis we must fight together and we must each do our share.

Here are the measures Navitrans will be taking to combat the outbreak.

Staff working from home

All Navitrans staff has been instructed to work from home as much as possible at this time. This may result in a delay in reaching your Navitrans representative. Rest assured, if your rep is not reachable right away, he/she will get back to you as soon as possible. We’d also like to remind you that our central phone number remains on standby for all inquiries.

Non-mandatory travel cancelled

Due to the obvious risks involving travel right now, Navitrans has cancelled all non-mandatory travel as per government instructions.

Remote meetings

In light of following instructions, we will be reducing our face to face meetings as much as possible. Fortunately, we live in a time with the tools necessary to hold internal and external meeting via other means. Colleagues are encouraged to hold meetings via phone call, Skype, Teams, TeamViewer, etc... Only critical meetings requiring in-person contact will be permitted. We encourage any face-to-face meeting taking place to follow the appropriate social distancing measures (remaining two metres apart).

These instructions apply to all Navitrans staff holding external meetings, as well as visitors to our office. Our staff will be in touch shortly to rearrange meeting details.

General hygiene

While proper hygiene is always an important measure for Navitrans, we are taking additional measures in this challenging time to combat the spread of the virus. Measures will include no handshaking, no close contact and a mandatory distance between working desks when in the office. We will also provide tissues and disinfecting hand gel.

Prevention

In the event that one of our employees whom you were recently in physical contact with tests positive for Covid-19, we will inform you as soon as possible. We also urge any employee who is feeling ill to stay at home and self-isolate as per government instructions.

With government instructions changing daily, this is a precarious situation. As we cannot predict how this will evolve and what the impact on our staff will be, this may have an impact on ongoing projects, rollout and (planned) delivery. Our project managers are working on the matter and will be in touch shortly to discuss arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in these uncertain times.

While this time is challenging for us all, we are convinced that if we all do our part in following governmental instructions and applying common sense, we can reduce the duration and impact of this global pandemic.

If you have any questions regarding these measures, please don’t hesitate to get in touch through our special email: covid19@navitrans.eu

Thank you and stay safe!
