March 1st, the 2018 Transport & Logistics awards were handed out in Mechelen.
We congratulate Groep Joosen for winning the "Transporter of the Year 2018 Award", but we are also extremely proud that Navitrans customer 4D Trans has won the "TRUCK ICT Award" with an IT project that has everything to do with NaviTrans.
From the jury report:
"4D Trans is a young and ambitious transport company, whose IT structure can easily withstand the comparison with large companies. This demonstrates a clear vision of the management, which both makes sense in the hardware and in the software. This is more or less contrary to what is usual in transport companies, where the structures only follow after growth has been realized.
4D has started with a solid IT foundation and growth came after that. This approach required large-scale investments without really knowing whether these efforts would repay themselves. But it has for example enabled 4D Trans to do post-calculation, a concept that is only beginning to gain popularity in transport companies that are a lot bigger. "
